Volunteer Enrichment Assistant

STEAMwSeniors is seeking compassionate and enthusiastic volunteers to support our enrichment programs for older adults in assisted living, healthcare, and memory care communities throughout Hesston, Newton, and surrounding areas. Our engaging 60-minute STEAM-based programs are designed to inspire curiosity, connection, and lifelong learning.

Volunteers serve in a supportive role alongside experienced STEAMwSeniors staff, helping residents participate in activities and ensuring each individual feels encouraged and successful. Opportunities are flexible, allowing volunteers to serve whenever their schedule permits. No prior experience is needed — just enthusiasm and a willing heart.

Ideal volunteers have a genuine love for working with seniors of all physical and cognitive abilities. A friendly, patient, and encouraging demeanor is essential, along with a readiness to assist residents so they can fully enjoy each experience.
